The construction of a waste processing plant in Lviv has been halted. The contract with the contractor who built the plant was terminated back in April. An audit is currently underway, after which a new tender is planned. After the new contractor is selected, it will take another six months to complete the plant and put it into operation. Its capacity should be enough to process all the waste produced by Lviv and the Lviv community, says Oleksandr Yegorov, director of the municipal enterprise “Green City”.
