48 keyless P. Bish fairground organ (& bonus Gavioli clip) - Stotfold Mill, 2026

One of the first bits of footage of this organ online - which is currently located in the centre of the Saunders family's set of gallopers, recorded at the Stotfold Mill Steam Rally on the 10/05/26. The organ was originally built in the 1960s by organ builder and enthusiast Peter Bish, who built a number of these small instruments all playing the Gavioli/Chiappa Ltd. 46/48kl scale. This organ was originally 46 keyless but was expanded to 48 through the addition of a glockenspiel - which wasn't working here. For those of you who are die-hard organ enthusiasts (as I'm sure quite a few of you who watch my channel are), the organ appears - in its original form - on page 26 of the FOPS "Organ Parade" book with its builder standing next to it. Included at the end are a couple of bonus tunes on the Gavioli Fartophone, featuring a rather depressed looking Sooty... ~Tracklist~ ~~Bish organ~~ 0:00 First World War Selection 4:15 Trink, Brüderlein, Trink 5:50 Under the Banner of Victory 8:04 Palace of Varieties No.2 14:39 Marche Militaire ~~Gavioli~~ 19:50 Amparito Roca 22:00 Bye Bye Blackbird
