This Tuesday, July 5, three couples performed their Street Pop choreography on the ShowMatch competition. Horacio and Diego also visited the studio. SABRINA LACKED SENSUALITY Marcelo presented the second Street Pop gala on Dancing 2016, and Sabrina Rojas opened the show with Cristian Ponce, performing Jessie J's “Burnin' Up” (ft. 2 Chainz). “I left Luciano (Castro) at home babysitting,” the actress said about her partner, when asked when he would come to see her on the show. Ángel De Brito (5), the first to give feedback, said: “You can tell they have good chemistry, although I saw him with more energy.” Carolina “Pampita” Ardohain (secret vote) wasn't entirely satisfied: “They have a lot of attitude on the face, but I noticed some flaws that I already pointed out in their previous dances.” Moria Casán (7) also noted inaccuracies: “They were off-beat, and I had some eye strain. I think your energy and footwork are letting you down, Sabrina.” Soledad Silveyra (8) had expected something different: “I would have played more with Sabrina's sensuality, I would have focused more on the interpretation.” Meanwhile, Marcelo Polino (4) declared: “The song lacked the necessary eroticism.” Total: 24 points. ÁNGELA AND SOLITA'S DRINK, FULL OF ENERGY In the second performance, Ángela Torres and Facundo Insúa danced to Madonna's “Bitch I’m Madonna” (ft. Nicki Minaj – Diplo mix). In the lead-up to the performance, the young actress told Marcelo about her outings with Charlotte Caniggia, Barbie Vélez, and Candela Ruggeri, and about her "good vibes" with Agustín from Márama. De Brito (6) asked her about her friendship with Lali Espósito and then praised her: "You're a force of nature, keep going. It's one of the best Street Pop routines I've ever seen." Pampita (secret vote) tipped her hat: "I loved the choreography. They're perfect, they never disappoint." Moria (10) gave credit to the production team: "I can't believe what the technical team does, they got the choreography perfectly synchronized." Solita (9) was fascinated, but Marcelo confiscated a shot of Negroni from her, which "lit up" the dance floor for a while. Finally, Polino (6) remarked: "This is innovation. I liked it. Keep working, you're doing well." Total: 31 points. HOLYFIELD, LIKE A CHAMPION Next, Evander Holyfield appeared accompanied by Judith Kovalovsky to perform “Lean On” by Major Lazer & DJ Snake. Before the performance, Marcelo received a gift belt from the American, presented by the World Boxing Council, along with a pair of gloves with which he exchanged a few “punches” with Federico Hoppe. “Evander comes here to have fun, and that doesn’t happen with all international stars,” De Brito noted (4). “You’re rehearsing a lot, we’re seeing you grow, and that’s why I’m going to raise your score,” Pampita remarked (secret vote). “It’s the best performance you’ve done. I liked the puppeteer effect with your partner,” Moria said (9). Solita (9) also gave her approval: “Great job, I loved it. Evander’s best dance since he’s been on this show.” For his part, Polino (5) concluded: “I agree with what my colleagues said: it was the best gala.” Total: 27 points. To celebrate the positive feedback, Evander accepted a burger-biting contest challenged by Marcelo. AN EDUCATIONAL VISIT Finally, Horacio (Martín Bilyk) and Diego (Martín Sipicki), who had previously joined the wild Negroni dance, made another appearance in the studio to teach three "penguins," including Máximo (Christian Alonso), ways to improve their manners.
