When Marrying White Women Goes RIGHT!

Why is everybody losing their minds over who Jaylen Brunson goes home to at night? Lately, there’s been a ton of noise rolling across social media, specifically over on X, with people getting bent out of shape discovering that Brunson is married to his high school sweetheart, Ali Marks. Some folks are genuinely out here acting like a black athlete's success belongs to the entire community, using examples like LeBron and Savannah James to build an ecosystem where they can claim credit for a man's hard work. But when a guy like Brunson handles business, builds his own machine, and brings real success to a major franchise, people get upset because they can't attach their own narrative to it. Let's look at the actual tape. Jaylen Brunson was a second-round 33rd pick back in 2018. Nobody was checking for him like that when he was grinding, catching the bus, and putting in the work before the big payday. Ali was there from day one. You can't wait until a man is undeniably successful to try and set the terms of engagement. If you aren't willing to get in when the getting is good and build together from the ground up, you can't mad when someone else is standing next to him at the finish line.
