There is more here than meets the eye, and in this video I am taking you through the new items before we take the BMW out for a spin and test the traction on Norways dark and icy roads. A classic combo with a vintage looking body on a tried and tested chassis? Yes please! Meet the HPI Racing Sport 3 Flux with the BMW 2002 Turbo body! At first glance there is a lot of familiar stuff here, but a closer look reveals quite a bit of new elements. The BMW body has a 200 mm width and a 2500mm wheelbase, meaning it’s a TRUE 10th scale. It comes with some excellent chrome details such as wing mirrors, a period correct rear bumper and even a light kit with functioning brake lights. The Sport 3 Chassis with the Flux brushless system is quick and nimble. Being a chassis that’s been out for a while, means that sourcing spares and upgrades is easy, and taking it to a local track will make you fit right in. I’m very glad to see HPI coming out with more vehicles and looking healthy and strong for 2025. What else will there be at the horizon from them? I’m keeping my eyes peeled!
