"Nervenschädigungen an Händen & Füßen bei Chemotherapie" Bärbel Schäfer und Dr. Trudi Schaper

LIVE TALK WITH DR. TRUDI SCHAPER MAY 31, 2022 | 7:00 PM | Join us!    • "Nervenschädigungen bei der Brustkrebs-Che...   The fear of typical chemotherapy side effects is significant: nausea, vomiting, possible infections, hair loss, and ultimately, the development of painful nerve damage in the hands and feet (polyneuropathy - CIPN). While patients recover quickly from many side effects after completing chemotherapy, chemotherapy-induced polyneuropathy is often a long-term complication that persists for years and significantly impacts patients' quality of life. Dr. Trudi Schaper, as principal investigator at Luisenkrankenhaus Düsseldorf, is responsible for the coordination, organization, and execution of clinical trials. In conversation with Bärbel Schäfer, she reports on the successes of the new thermo-healing method, HILOTHERAPY, which significantly reduces or even prevents the risk of developing chemotherapy-induced polyneuropathy and hand-foot syndrome. As part of the campaign "I'M IN! Understanding Breast Cancer," nearly 50 interviews have been conducted with physicians, affected women, and breast cancer specialists. A new video, moderated by Bärbel Schäfer, is released daily.
