Chris Matthews at the University of the District of Columbia
Students had an opportunity to meet with one of America's most-watched political commentators on November 28th. Chris Matthews of MSNBC's Hard Ball spoke in the university's auditorium, where he engaged students in a deep conversation about the impact of the just passed federal elections. He called President Barack Obama's re-elections "historic" and a message from American citizens for elected leaders to focus on health care and entitlement reform. Matthews also signed copies of his book "Jack Kennedy: Elusive Hero", which is in book stores now (Simon and Schuster 2012).
