Storms, Marketplace Finds & a Flagpole Mishap | Tiny House Progress at 187 Farms

This week at 187 Farms was one of those weeks where nothing quite went according to plan... and somehow everything still got done! We head out to Foss Reservoir with Shawn's family for a day on the water, but Oklahoma weather has other plans, and we end up trying to outrun a storm once again. The storm finally pushed out, and we got to enjoy what we went for: Christmas in July, which included fireworks after dark on the water. Once we get back to the farm, we score some bedroom furniture for the tiny house on Facebook Marketplace. Then we also have to get our new flag untangled from the golden eagle on the flagpole after the storms that came through the previous evening. ( Shawn may or may not have backed the boat into it during one of my brain-lapse moments 😅). Monday, we make a trip to our local electric cooperative to pick up retired power poles that we'll be using to line the driveway to both the tiny house and our home. There's never a dull moment around here!
