We visited Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) during Tet and stayed at the Sofitel Saigon, to find out what Tet is really like in Vietnam. It gave us a real sense of what Tet is like in the city. Some people advise avoiding Vietnam during this holiday, but for us it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that made us feel so much closer to the culture.
