Engine Conversion Options - Land Rover Series 3
#landrover #landroverseries #engine www.patreon.com/restosaga The recent discovery of a crack in the engine block of my 2.25 diesel has prompted me to consider some options for possibly changing out the engine on my 1976 Land Rover Series 3 88". One option is to repair the block, either by having the cast iron welded by a professional or by a 'home' repair. Other petrol and diesel options are considered in the video. Although my Land Rover is a (rolling) restoration project I do like to keep it authentic. Maybe a 200tdi conversion would suit best? Or a V8? Or just go to petrol 2.25? Who knows - plenty of food for thought! Not an LS swap though anyway!!!
