Information on valve adjustments for Yamaha Xmax 250/Xmax300 engines, valve clearances, valve shims, and dimensions required for adjustments; plus a video on how to install and install the camshaft I'll be modifying on my engine. For the valve section and camshaft retaining screws, which are mentioned as the loosened screw on the Xmax: I used Loctite 243. The tightening torques for the screws are 8 and 12nm, while the catalog lists the removal torque for Loctite 243 as 26nm. I didn't use Loctite 243 because stronger ones can cause problems when removing the screws. The camshaft installation didn't go as expected, and my mood was completely dampened. After road tests, acceleration, and each part replacement, I'll compare it with another bike I've done 0-100 starts with and see how it goes. A video explaining the results after the installation, including GPS results, will be added.
