Styling Your Rose: Crepe Paper Wedding Roses 5

Crepe paper tea roses for a wedding bouquet, or just tea roses in a romantic arrangement for yourself, are a snap with this method. We'll use one strip as a foundation for all the petals! And I've got special hacks that create bulk in the rose so that it has a gorgeous shape. This tutorial demonstrates how to style the rose, which involves some finnicky gluing and reshaping. It's very meditative and enjoyable! This is the final video at present - what else would you like to learn about these roses! I'd be glad to demonstrate more. Once you understand the technique, you'll be able to make a fantastic rose in under an hour (well, you'll need a bit of time to add foliage). Use any heavyweight or double-sided crepe paper. I'll give the dimensions in Video 1 in this playlist. The example rose is made from doublette paper by Werola, which you can buy from www.petalsandpearlsdesign.com or from Lia Griffith's Double-Sided line. I'll also show roses made with Cartotecnica Rossi heavyweight crepe. In the US, a great source for this paper is www.cartefini.com. Keep in touch! I'd love to hear what you think of the technique! #crepepaperflowers #diybouquet #dyecrepepaper #antiquepink #flowers #roses #ombre #heavyweightcrepe #diyweddingbouquet #tutorial #roses #weddingbouquet #striproses #crepepaperflowertechnique #ombre #tearoses #mondialrose #sahararose #romanticvibes #romantic #diy
