Jarrod Cagwin Custom Hybrid Drums

Hi Everybody! I had a few requests to demonstrate a bit of what kind of drumset I play with Rabih on this tour, so I had just a few minutes after soundcheck today to put something together. I apologize for the sound and quick speaking, it is coming directly from camera on top of my monitor stack and all a bit unbalanced. So this drumset it is a custom made set from Eckermann Drums in Vienna. www.eckermanndrums.com The shells are basically the same as all my frame drums, however adapted to be able to use synthetic heads with sticks. This set delivers a very wide range of controlled dynamic possibility, whether acoustic or with the aid of equalized sound amplification. It is not a typical drumset configuration, which also takes a different approach to playing the instrument.
