Toronto Local Drain Technician Helps Fire Department Unclog Flooded On Ramp

While driving home through Toronto, I noticed a Gardiner Expressway on-ramp beginning to flood. Instead of driving past, I pulled over to see if I could locate the catch basin and figure out why the water wasn't draining. As I searched for the blockage, the fire department arrived on scene and began assisting with the flooding issue. Together, we worked to locate the drainage point and get the water moving again. It's not every day that a routine drive home turns into helping deal with a flooded roadway, but that's exactly what happened. This video shows the flooding conditions, the search for the catch basin, and how we worked to restore drainage and improve safety for motorists. If you enjoy real-world drain investigations, catch basin maintenance, storm drainage systems, and seeing how drainage problems are solved, you'll enjoy this one. 👍 If you found the video interesting, please like, comment, and subscribe.
