Supreme Court of Appeal overturns convictions of Coligny teen's alleged murderers
The Supreme Court of Appeal in Bloemfontein has set aside the convictions and sentences of two men accused of murdering 15-year-old Matlhomola Mosweu in Coligny in the North West in April 2017. Farmworkers Pieter Doorewaard and Phillip Schutte were sentenced to 23 years and 18 years respectively by the High Court in North West in October 2018. They were out on 20-thousand rand bail each.
