The Miyazaki Prefectural High School Athletic Meet finally begins on the 23rd. This time, we'll focus on the sport of naginata (Japanese halberd). There are naginata clubs at three high schools in the prefecture, and we interviewed the female students at Miyazaki Minami High School who are dedicating their youth to naginata.
