Dust Front’s Impossible Difficulty Is Absolutely Brutal

Dust Front might be one of the most exciting RTS games I’ve played in a very, very long time. After playing the demo, this genuinely feels like an indie RTS that understands what made games like Command & Conquer, Red Alert, Tiberian Sun, Total Annihilation, and the old-school RTS classics so special. Huge armies, proper base building, faction identity, deployable artillery, massive defensive structures, airstrikes, super weapons, mutants, destructible terrain, smart controls, and those tiny little quality-of-life features that make the whole thing feel so much better to play. In this video, I break down why Dust Front has me so excited, from its single-player focus and global domination-style campaign ideas, to its factions, difficulty scaling, production systems, Dreadnoughts, attack-move behaviour, unit priorities, construction cranes, material fabricators, and all the small details that make it feel like a proper RTS made by someone who actually understands RTS games. Indie RTS games are incredibly hard to make, and from what I can tell this project is being built by one developer, so every bit of support can genuinely help this game keep growing. Let me know what you think — does Dust Front look like the RTS comeback we’ve been waiting for? #DustFront #RTS #RealTimeStrategy #CommandAndConquer #IndieGames #StrategyGames #PCGaming #BaseBuilding #RTSGames
