Vatnajökull, the largest glacier in Europe, is in Iceland and is a true natural wonder. In this video, we explore its glacial tongues, ice lagoons, and unique volcanic landscapes. On this day of our Ring Road trip through Iceland, we started in Eldhraun, the world's largest moss-covered lava field, and ventured into the breathtaking Fjaðrárgljúfur canyon. Later, we explored several tongues of the Vatnajökull glacier, including Svínafellsjökull and the Jökulsárlón lagoon, where we even spotted seals in the wild. In the afternoon, we explored several glacial tongues of Vatnajökull: Svínafellsjökull and the Jökulsárlón lagoon, where we felt the immensity of Europe's largest glacier and saw seals in their natural habitat ❄️🦭. And just when it seemed the overcast sky would offer no respite, at midnight the wind cleared the clouds and, for the first time in our lives, we enjoyed the spectacle of the Northern Lights 🌌.
