On board a New Lots Ave. R142 4 train from Woodlawn to New Lots Ave.

Seen here is a ride on a 4 train, operated by R142s, bound for New Lots Avenue. During PM rush hour, some 4 trains would showcase out of Woodlawn, and head right on down to New Lots Avenue without terminating at Crown Heights. Only two of them head out of Woodlawn to New Lots Avenue, whether it’s an R142 or an R142A. I was able to take the second one after the first one left. Compare to the last videos I have done, I finally did a full complete ride from Woodlawn to New Lots Avenue this time, without no interruption this time when doing the video. Although during the ride, we went on the express on the local track because of congestion at Crown Heights, so we couldn’t do the cross over, but we did go straight ahead to Crown Heights without no interruption. In the end, it went out of service and went straight to Livonia Yard for storage layup for next service. I was able to get it going straight to the yard after it ended service, crossing over to the other track when going straight ahead. Please Note: subway service is fully 24/7 again, but doesn’t mean you should take off your mask when riding public transportation. Always wear a mask when riding the subway or buses, even if you are vaccinated, be at least 6 feet from others around you, and in case you need to adjust your mask, wear gloves when adjusting. Enjoy!
