Prophecy, Blessing, and Scheming (Jacob and Esau part 1)

God tells Rebekah that two nations are in her womb and the older will serve the younger. She bears the twins Jacob and Esau with Esau as the eldest and therefore the recipient of birthright and blessing. However, Esau is a worldly individual and forsakes God's promises for some red stew. Jacob buys the birthright, although he has no right to it. Yet, despite having no right to it, Jacob is attempting to act in faith because he knows the promises of God are worth more than anything worldly.
