Since bursting onto the scene in 1985 with the festive doomsday anthem, “Party at Ground Zero,” the group has released seven studio albums along with several EPs and live recordings. Among Fishbone's other classic songs are “Cholly,” “Everyday Sunshine,” “Bonin’ in the Boneyard,” “Swim,” and covers of “Freddie’s Dead,” “Shakey Ground” and “Everybody Is a Star.” In addition, Fishbone has made its mark in film and television, and Norwood Fisher has also stepped out with other projects including leading the revolving-roster funk-rock collective known as Trulio Disgracias. Here he addresses the entire history of both Fishbone and Trulio Disgracias, top memories and highlights, struggles, heroes and influences, and looks ahead to the future.
