KISAH (SEJARAH) ASAL USUL KABUPATEN BONDOWOSO

In the 18th century, the landscape at the eastern tip of Java, now known as the Horseshoe region, was a complex mosaic of wilderness, remnants of ancient civilizations, and the influence of emerging powers. The area that would become Bondowoso Regency was then still a relatively remote area, covered in dense forests and hills, strategically located inland between coastal power centers such as Panarukan and Besuki, and the remnants of the Blambangan Kingdom in the far south.
