Welcome to my painting corner of YouTube! I’m so glad you’re here creating with me. I’ve been an elementary art teacher since the early 2000s, and for over a decade I also taught paint-and-sip classes, guiding people step by step while reminding them that art is meant to be fun, not perfect. When Covid changed the way we connected, I started this channel as a way to keep people creating together, even while apart. My goal is to make painting approachable, relaxing, and a little bit joyful—no matter your experience level. For today’s painting, I’m working on an 11x14 canvas panel. The brushes I use are a 1” flat brush, along with round brushes in sizes 10, 6, and 1. I’m using heavy body acrylic paints in the following colors: red, pink, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, white, and black. Feel free to swap colors, adjust sizes, or make it your own. This is your painting journey—so relax, have fun, and let’s get started.
