Parrot Disco 4g LTE Waypoint flight.

Hi FPV friends 🙌🏻, I’m back with a new Disco FPV flight. This was my very first waypoint flight with the Parrot Disco, and it was an awesome experience to see how capable this platform is for longer autonomous flights. It took a while before I could fly the Disco again. The flight conditions here in the Netherlands were not ideal lately either too much rain or winds that were simply too strong for the kind of flights I want to make. During this flight I covered a total distance of 14.5 km while using 19% of my Li-Ion battery capacity. For the next flight I want to push it a little further and aim for 50 km, but first I’ll make sure to prepare everything carefully. In the near future I’m going to explore this way of flying much more to discover the possibilities and see what is truly achievable with waypoint missions and the Parrot Disco. Disco4G is a software modification (softmod) for the Parrot Disco drone. Instead of the built-in regular Wi-Fi, it allows to use a 4G/LTE cellular/mobile network connection to link Skycontroller 2 to the Disco. Control/telemetry and live video stream are routed through the 4G/LTE connection. In other words, range limit becomes your imagination!
