Simelane loaned money from a VBS scandal-linked entity
Justice Minister Thembi Simelane has been mentioned in the ongoing VBS Mutual Bank scandal. According to a Daily Maverick report, Simelane used a 'loan' from Gundo Wealth Solutions, which is linked to the VBS scandal, to purchase a coffee shop in Sandton. Daily Maverick journalist, Pauli Van Wyk says when asked about this, Simelane admitted that she bought the coffee shop with the money from Gundo Wealth Solutions.
