Notorious Matthew Hardman was 17 and vampire obsessed when he took Mabel Leyshon's life. He has always denied murdering the 90-year-old but lost an attempt to appeal against his conviction in 2003 and 2014. But now the Criminal Cases Review Commission, which investigates miscarriages of justice, has confirmed it is reviewing the conviction.
