2003 Salt Lake City THQ 125cc West AMA Supercross Championship (Final Round)

This is the 8th and final round of the 2003 THQ 125cc West AMA Supercross Championship from Rice Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, UT. Returning 125cc West contenders like 125cc sophomores James Stewart, Jr. and Billy Laninovich, Chris Gosselaar, Andrew Short, Eric Sorby, Matt Walker, 125cc rookie Josh Hansen, Josh Woods, Sean Hamblin, Danny Smith, defending 125cc West Supercross champ Travis Preston and others battle it out for the 2003 THQ 125cc West AMA Supercross Championship. This series is totally dominated by James "Bubba" Stewart, Jr. Defending 125cc West champ Travis Preston is knocked out for the year due to a knee injury (after showing a cortisone shot in his knee at the Dallas race). KTM sophomore Billy Laninovich finishes a career-best 2nd place in this race. Andrew Short wins the battle for 3rd in the 125cc West series over Pro Circuit Kawasaki's Matt Walker, who crashed in the main and did not finish the race. Enjoy.
