Boxing star Nomeva set for final fight

Former South African and international boxing champion Xolisani “Nomeva” Ndongeni is set to step into the ring for the final time tomorrow in a farewell event titled “The Last Sting of the Wasp.” With a professional record of 33 wins, including 19 knockouts and multiple titles across the SA, WBF, IBO and ABU divisions, Ndongeni’s final bout is being celebrated as more than just a boxing spectacle, but a major community upliftment and sports tourism initiative aimed at boosting the Buffalo City Metro and the broader Eastern Cape.
