Just a video from my solo flawless "Zero to Hero" series, which is solo flawless all 11 dungeons in order, starting with only white gear and using drops from each dungeon along the way. The sword ended up being just a cosmetic too thinking back on this. I was also hoping for both the Void SMG and Stormchaser so I'd have decent weapons for some of the later dungeons, got the SMG at least but no Stormchaser unfortunately. I also learned that exotics can drop from these dungeons after their initial appearance, wasn't sure if they could. But I don't see it being exactly useful going forward Still no chest piece either which hurts for the no resists, but I'm glad a white armour piece lives on. The rules I've set for myself in this series are fairly simple: starting with all white gear in The Shattered Throne, I'll be working through all 11 dungeons for solo flawless clears. I'm only able to use gear that drops during the dungeons to build my character up along the way, working through all 11 dungeons in release order and ending with Equilibrium. I decided against the secret chests as I wanted to limit the loot pool, as it felt like there'd be a good chance I would be geared up entirely in the first 2-3 dungeons if I did. This way there's the small chance that a white piece of gear will persist through a lot of the dungeons, even if it's unlikely. If an exotic engram drops, I'll let RNG decide and decrypt it after the run for the next dungeon. I've also decided not to impose any other further restrictions or back-to-back criteria, as I've never really cared for timesink challenges, and it's especially pointless as I don't stream to be able to prove it. So if I wipe in one, I'll just delete the drops I got and start from the beginning of that dungeon again. As a lot of people have mentioned it, while I did think about further restricting the earlier dungeons (fragments, aspects, artifact), to me it felt like it'd end up being more boring to play and prolong things unnecessarily, rather than adding to the challenge in an interesting way. While it would indeed make things more challenging, the earlier dungeons have been entirely powercrept almost no matter what you do. So it seemed like it was unfun way to do this, and I still want to have some enjoyment while running these. At the end of the day it's just as a fun little series to do and there's no strict ruleset behind it. I'm not looking to completely handicap myself in every way possible and triple their length at the same time, I just want to clear some dungeons using the gear I pick up along the way as a mini-series to enjoy. And to that end, I'll probably be using this similar build and setup throughout, as it's effective with next to no gear. I'll also continue with the other one loadout runs to round them all out on each class, but I wanted to get this series done while the game is still active.
