Hi! Passion / My Sanctuary is the beautiful KINGDOM HEARTS II opening composed and sung by Utada Hikaru~ I played this song many years ago, but it was only uploaded as a vocal cover version in Youtube (and the recording and the audio quality were a bit meh!    • Passion / My Sanctuary (Utada Hikaru) ~ Pi...  ) 🎼 I'm playing a very popular arrangement made by the amazing @kylelandry, although I did some minor changes and played some different notes on purpose, it's basically the same! One of my biggest mistakes piano-wise has always been rushing in every song, playing everything too fast and not letting the audience (and my self) enjoy the music. I've always been able to play fast easily, but some years ago I wasn't able to control my tempo and I wasn't aware of it, so I never tried to fix it (?) I now realize music needs its time to be told properly, puking a song played at a super high tempo might look virtuosistic, but it makes no sense at all and the meaning is lost in the process~ The thing is my old recording feels quite rushed to me, so I've taken my time when I needed to this time, I'm still working on it but I hope you enjoy it! 💙 ♪________________________________________­______ 🎧 You can now stream & download this cover (included in the "KINGDOM HEARTS: Piano Reports" album) in iTunes.
