Mined brinda atención socioemocional a niños albergados y verifica daños en escuelas por lluvias

The Ministry of Education (Mined) implemented an educational support and socio-emotional assistance plan for more than 20 minors who are sheltered with their families at the Cangrejera shelter in La Libertad. The Minister of Education, Karla Trigueros, visited the shelter to oversee the recreational activities coordinated by early childhood and primary education staff. Authorities also reported that they are maintaining constant and thorough monitoring of 436 schools identified as being at risk of flooding nationwide, verifying the condition of the infrastructure with the support of departmental directors in response to the damage caused by the rains.
