Subsea7 was established in 2002, but our story began long before that. With roots in more than 25 legacy companies, our journey spans over half a century of overcoming subsea and marine challenges — building the expertise that makes us a world-leading contractor today. From the very beginning, collaboration has been at the heart of our progress. In the 1950s, Brown & Root and Taylor Diving formed an alliance that would become the world’s largest commercial diving company. In 2002, Halliburton Subsea, a sub-business unit of Brown & Root, partnered with DSND Subsea to create Subsea7 as a collaborative joint venture. Since then, our partnerships have continued to evolve. In 2015, we launched Subsea Integration Alliance with OneSubsea — combining strengths to deliver fully integrated subsea projects around the world, accelerating field development and supporting energy production. Across more than 30 countries, we continue to build trusted partnerships with clients, suppliers, and communities — working together to make possible the global delivery of offshore energy solutions for today and tomorrow.
