Puerto Maldonado: caen criminales que abastecían a mineros ilegales

A former prosecutor and three active-duty police officers were arrested during a major operation against the alleged criminal organization "Los Lecheros del Puerto" (The Milkmen of the Port), accused of diverting fuel to illegal mining operations. According to the Prosecutor's Office, the network had been operating since 2023, and more than S/ 1.8 million in cash was seized during the raids. The investigation continues to apprehend the other suspects.
