Seongnam Urban Railway Line 1, which connects Pangyo Station to Sangdaewon-dong, and Seongnam Urban Railway Line 2, which connects Geumto-dong to Jeongja Station and Unjung-dong to Baekhyeon-dong, have been adjusted to reflect this change. Seongnam City plans to apply for a preliminary feasibility study on the extension of Subway Line 8 to Moran this month to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. The Pangyo-Opo railway project has also begun a preliminary feasibility study and is entering full-scale administrative procedures. However, the tram-style urban railway lines 1 and 2 face challenges in securing legal and institutional frameworks, such as the operation of dedicated lanes.
