Rucksack Carry Tied at the Shoulder (Ruck TAS)

The Rucksack Carry is the simplest of back carries, great for beginners. The tricks with the Ruck are to make sure you have a nice tight top rail, even if baby is arms out. A loose top rail allows baby's weight to pull on your neck leaving the wearer uncomfortable and aching. The other trick is to not overtighten the bottom rail. You will see I leave a tiny bit of slack in my bottom rail so that as my baby bounces and moves, I don't loose my seat from overtightened tension. The Ruck tied at the shoulder (TAS) is great for a shorter wrap allowing you the same ruck with your on the go shorty. I am using a base -4 in this tutorial. The wrap: Risaroo Wovens Kerrington Carbon, size 2 (base -4) The carry: Rucksack Carry, Tied at the Shoulder The babes: 2 years, 29 pounds (13.1kg)
