We broke down in Baja Mexico

Our Gladiator broke down deep in the Baja backcountry — miles from the nearest town, no cell signal, and no tow truck coming. Here's the trail fix that got us rolling again. This run took us through the heart of Baja California's remote interior: a crumbling 18th-century Spanish mission most overlanders never find, a hidden desert oasis fed by an underground spring, and one of the worst mechanical surprises we've had on the trail.
