What an EJ intermediate clinic looks like at Rock Island.

Every group is different, water levels are different, and without Craig Hullins taking photos, media you get is different. However, this is pretty standard on what you might experience here with me. We had 80+ degree weather 3 of the 4 days, big rains the final day for higher water. Our waterfall experience was on day 1 when it was running perfectly. Danny Stock, my longtime friend, National Champion Slalom Racer, was our guest instructor and did a wonderful job, of course. Kevin Parker has the most EJ time with maybe 15 years of doing Ottawa, here at Rock Island, etc.. Yes, is was also the best boater there. good job Kevin. Rick and Cheryl were back for more and were amazing. New to me paddlers were Drew, Bill, Blake, and Walt. New good friends! The Ringer was the boat of choice and it was just amazing here.
