During a hearing, the Italian Attorney General's Office expressed its support for the defense's argument, a move considered rare by lawyer Fábio Pagnozzi. According to him, the Brazilian request in the gun case was a "smokescreen" to allow Zambelli to be sent to Brazil and end up serving another sentence related to the CNJ case.
