I think the leads are improved compared to those, I played 20+ years ago. Massive Killing Capacity is the most melodic record in Dismember's catalogue and they really went on an Iron Maiden worship frenzy from then on. I heard in an interview they regret that they didn't max out the Boss HM2s on this record...so I did max out my HM300. :) The guitars sound purposely nastier than the original.
