Transforming Our Georgian Garden | The Hedges Are Going In
The Georgian garden transformation has officially begun — and this week, we’re planting the hedges! After months of clearing, digging, drainage work and general renovation chaos, it feels amazing to finally start putting something back into the garden. We’re planting a brand-new hedge around the property to create more privacy, structure and greenery, while bringing the garden back to life around our Georgian renovation. In this episode, we tackle the ground preparation, spacing, planting and watering, with plenty of hard graft along the way. It’s a huge job, but this is the first real step towards creating the garden we’ve been imagining since we bought the house. There is still a long way to go, but the hedges are in — and our Georgian garden is finally beginning to take shape!
