In this new episode of Faith Talks, we compare two world religions that offer different answers to the same fundamental questions of human existence — Christianity and Buddhism. Host: Nadia Lira. Together with practicing Buddhist Natalia Trenina and Orthodox theologian Archpriest Andrii Dudchenko, we discuss the nature of suffering, salvation and Nirvana, God and the Absolute, karma and sin, prayer and meditation, life after death, reincarnation, morality, free will, and the role of religion in the modern world. As the project's producer Ernest Akopov notes, the goal of Faith Talks is not to determine a winner in a debate, but to create an opportunity for people with different beliefs to hear one another, discover shared values, and better understand the differences between religious traditions.
