Tozo! - Fletcher Henderson & his Orchestra (Hot)

Fletcher Henderson was at the top of his game in 1927. His band was playing at the Roseland Ballroom, and he had some of New York's finest African-American musicians playing in the band. This side really shows the band at its finest. An auto accident in 1928 sidelined Henderson for a portion of 1928, but by 1930 he was one of the pioneers leading the charge into the swing era with a terrific band and fabulous arrangements. Recorded in New York on January 21, 1927.
