Today, I’m diving into a question from Daniel, who wants to know how to successfully run an entrepreneurship training and consulting company. Daniel’s been making attempts but hasn’t seen great results yet, so he asked for some guidance on how to create more awareness and interest in this field. Here’s the reality: trying to create a brand-new market is one of the hardest things you can do as an entrepreneur. Instead of forcing demand, find an existing market where there's already interest and solve a clear problem. When it comes to startups, most entrepreneurs don’t have a lot of extra cash to invest, which makes selling to them tricky. So, how can you still help entrepreneurs but make it sustainable? I suggest two avenues: First, look at partnering with governments—they often fund entrepreneur training programs to boost local economies. Second, connect with large corporations looking to reach small business owners. Companies want to be seen as allies to entrepreneurs, and they have budgets to support content, events, and training initiatives. It’s all about shifting who pays the bill while still serving the same passionate community you care about. If you’re dead set on working directly with startups, consider becoming a partner in their businesses—own a piece of the pie and help grow their ventures long-term. But remember, it’s like getting married. It’s a big commitment and takes the right match of skills, personality, and trust. Either way, the key is to align yourself with people and organizations who value what you bring to the table and have the resources to support your mission.
