Today I explored the quieter side of Kita-Kamakura on a gloomy spring day. We visited Verve Coffee Roasters, wandered through the peaceful grounds of Jōchi-ji, and continued deeper into Kenchō-ji, where hidden mountain paths, stone steps, and quiet temples stretch far into the valley. If you follow this same route, the tour would probably take around 3 hours. For some reason, the Kita-Kamakura area feels even more beautiful on cloudy or rainy days than it does under blue skies.
