"BACH - ITRÎ - NOW" 2020 Crossover concert within cross-cultural perspectives: a fusion where the Maqam-based music tradition and Baroque music meet. Yunus Emre Institute Amsterdam and MultiSonant Collective present an online Livestream concert, featuring a tour of baroque Europe and the Ottoman court of the 17th-and 18th- centuries around the theme of “BACH - ITRI - NOW” Program: The ensemble will perform works of composers of the Baroque era, among others, J.S. Bach, Vivaldi, Händel, Telemann, Purcell, Corelli, Couperin, Tartini, Rigatti and Rousseau, and pieces and arrangements of Ottoman classical music tradition, including Semaîs, Peşrevs, Sufi Hymns and love songs of Itri, Hafız Post, Marāghī, Gazi Giray, Şakir Ağa, Numan Ağa, Dimitrie Candemir and Ali Ufki (Albert Bobowski); also includes the compositions specially written for this occasion by Meliha Doğuduyal.
