This is an LG 1080p Led TV model 55LN5200 that powers on but the only thing you'll see is a brief, very dim flash on the screen and then the screen stays black and may still have sound. Other similar LG TV models that may have this problem include 55ln5100, 55ln5400, 55ln5600, and 55ln5700 model televisions. The problem is an open led light on one of the back light strips. Because this TV is almost 8 years old, instead of replacing the one bad led light, we will replace all the led back light strips in the TV.
