Bule Ini Kagum Akan Budaya Sunda! Orang Asing Bisa Meraskan Kebahagiaan yg Tidak Ada Di Negaranya
"It turns out these foreigners' culinary adventures weren't over yet. After enjoying their nasi liwet (liwet rice) and fresh vegetables, they were invited to sample other equally unique traditional dishes. First, they were offered cassava tape. At first, they were a bit hesitant, as it looked strange, had a soft texture, and smelled a bit sour. But when it was explained that it was fermented cassava and had a sweet taste, they were brave enough to try it. As soon as it entered their mouths, their expressions changed. Some frowned, confused, but others immediately smiled. They said it tasted strange but delicious, sweet but sour, soft but fibrous. In short, it was a truly unique experience. Then, they were also invited to try an old-school snack called bandros. This cake is made from rice flour, grated coconut, and coconut milk, then baked in a special mold. It's savory, sweet, and incredibly fragrant. From the first bite, they immediately loved it. It's crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and sweet. It's savory, and addictive. They say it's like an Indonesian version of pancakes, but tastier and more unique. The most exciting part was when they were invited to make their own chili sauce. They were taught how to grind chilies, shallots, garlic, shrimp paste, and other ingredients in a mortar and pestle. At first, they struggled a bit, as they weren't used to grinding. But, over time, they got the hang of it. When they tried the homemade chili sauce, they were immediately hooked. Their faces turned red, their eyes watered, but they were still proud. They said that even though the spiciness made them cry, it was so delicious they couldn't stop eating it. They were also really surprised; making chili sauce isn't easy; it requires effort and patience. But they were thrilled to learn how to make traditional Indonesian food, to experience the process firsthand, and to appreciate the hard work of others. From there, they became increasingly aware of how rich and diverse Indonesian cuisine is. Each region has its own specialty, and each dish has its own story and history. They also learned that food isn't just about... "It's not just a snack, it's also part of a nation's culture and identity." SC: @farmstaymanangel #bule #trending #viral #indonesiamendunia ##sunda
