But, over time, they got the hang of it. When they tried the homemade chili sauce, they were immediately hooked. Their faces turned red, their eyes watered, but they were still proud. They said that even though the spiciness made them cry, it was so delicious they couldn't stop eating it. They were also really surprised; making chili sauce isn't easy; it requires effort and patience. But they were thrilled to learn how to make traditional Indonesian food, to experience the process firsthand, and to appreciate the hard work of others.
