Camping de Iarnă în Ținutul Urșilor | Off-Road pe Transfăgărășan

We went on a winter adventure in the Făgăraș Mountains, on the Transfăgărășan, for two nights of camping in the snow, at over 1200 m altitude, in the heart of the “Land of the Bears”. Off-roading on snow-covered roads, thick fog, campfires, outdoor cooking and moments that you don’t easily forget. We camped in the Arefu area, close to Lake Măgura, a spectacular place, less known to tourists, but frequented by bears. In the morning we woke up with fresh tracks around the camp. We explored the area, took a hike to the frozen lake and captured superb drone footage over the Argeș Valley. At the camp we cooked over a wood fire, in the middle of the snow: langoși, papanași with jam and other goodies, in an authentic off-road camping atmosphere. It was a weekend getaway in nature, with friends, winter-ready cars and lots of good energy. If you like mountain outings, winter camping, off-roading and adventure on the Transfăgărășan, this vlog is for you.
