2006-2014 Kia Sedona door lock actuator motor replacement.

This is instructions for how to replace the small motor in your rear door lock actuator. If your rear doors won't lock/unlock with the rest of your doors you can use this part to repair your rear power locks. This part(81447-4d500) is normally used to repair the power sliding door. I have successfully used it to repair the lock actuator. Keep in mind the replacement unit has a slightly shorter, metal, spindle. I don't believe they sell the original motor separately. Dorman sells an actuator # 759-508($40) that will replace the passenger rear lock actuator. This part is technically sold as a replacement lift gate actuator for the Kia Sportage 2005-2009. They don't sell a driver's rear version of this actuator but you can crack them open and swap the "original" motor/spindle with your bad one. I have not had any problem with the shorter, metal spindles and the motors are cheaper to replace ($12-15).
