STORTI nailing line for paper mill

Producers of pallets for paper mills require highly flexible nailing lines capable of handling small production batches with varying dimensions. This project goes beyond mechanical flexibility, introducing advanced software integration. The paper mill submits orders via a dedicated module, which our customer can update at any time with new pallet formats, using his own software. Storti’s software receives these orders, processes them based on the specified pallet dimensions, and organizes them into an optimized production sequence (pyramid logic). The instructions are then transmitted to the nailing line to start production. The system architecture enables parallel batch processing: while the second machine completes the first batch, the first machine starts the next. This overlap significantly reduces format changeover times, increasing overall production efficiency.
